I loved it. I had a lighter tint on the windshield than the rest of the car, and a tint strip across the top. So from any distance it just looked like a strip across the top of the windshield. It wasn't dark enough across the front to affect night time driving, but it sure helped during the day! Then I got hit in the front quarter panel and cracked the windshield. Tint is gone (with original windshield) and I can't find my buddy that did it the first time.
My advice, if you do it (and I enjoyed it), don't try anything dark, or even close to dark. A very light tent does wonders.
